Privacy
Last updated 2 October 2026. This describes exactly what the app does with information, in plain words.
The short version
Your friends' phone numbers never leave your phone. Your contacts are never uploaded. There is no advertising, no analytics and no tracking of any kind. Plans and their chat are stored on a server so the people you invite can reply.
What stays on your phone only
- Your friends' phone numbers.
- Your phone's contacts. The app reads them only while you are choosing who to add, and only the people you pick are saved, on the phone.
- Your reminders, which your phone schedules itself.
- Any backup file you create, which goes wherever you send it.
What is stored on the server
So that invited people can see a plan and answer it, the following is kept in a database run by Supabase:
- Plan details: name, date and time, place, address, cost, how many people are needed.
- The names of people you invite, and their answers.
- Chat messages on a plan, with the name of whoever wrote them.
- Extra details people add: guests they are bringing, short notes, running late, arrival check-ins, who has paid.
- An anonymous account identifier created for your phone. It is a random value and is not linked to your name, your email or your phone number.
Who can see what
- Only your phone can read the plans it created. This is enforced by the database, not just by the app.
- Each person you invite gets their own private link. It shows them that one plan, their own answer, and how many people are coming. It does not show them other people's answers, and it does not show them any phone numbers.
- The chat on a plan is shown only to people who have said they are coming.
- You can turn off any invite link at any time, from the plan screen in the app.
Text messages
When you invite someone, the app opens your phone's own messages app with the invitation written out. You press send. The message is sent by you, through your own phone and your own carrier. The app does not send texts itself and keeps no record of them.
Deleting everything
Settings, then Danger zone, then Delete everything erases every plan, friend, group and message held on your phone. To have what is on the server removed as well, email the address below and it will be deleted.
Services used
- Supabase stores the plans and runs the invite links.
- Cloudflare hosts the invite page at justshowup.fun.
No information is sold, shared for advertising, or given to anyone else.

This app is not aimed at children under 13 and should not be used by them.
